Our Instagram feeds were on opposite ends of the spectrum this week, with half of our favourite stars bracing themselves for the cold of the Norther Hemisphere Winter, and the other half soaking up the sun in Australia. Jesinta Campbell was one s star taking in the heat, sharing snaps of her incredible figure (not to mention some seriously cool Mikoh swimwear), and revealing some behind-the-scenes action on a beach shoot. On the other side of the globe, Lara stayed cosy in bed with her boyfriend Sam Worthington — the pair were in New Orleans — while Jessica Gomes rugged up in Paris and a bunch of Victoria's Secret models partied together in New York City. And Miranda Kerr? As usual, there were so many pictures of this local beauty — but we were particularly enamoured with the one in this gallery. Keen to see them all? Click through now!
We may be well into the swing of Summer, but there's one Winter trend that just won't quit — the sexy, dark, dangerous lip look. Dramatic description? It may well be, but a makeup craze this good deserves a bit of extra attention. There's something so mysterious and luxe about slicking dark red, purple or berry-hued colours across your lips — it's the easiest way to make like a modern femme fatale and knock the socks off anyone who stands in your way. As these celebrities beautifully exhibit, there are so many ways to interpret the trend. No matter your complexion and hair colour, there's a version in here that you can take and make your own this season. Because while we love a bright, light lip for long lunches in Summer, there's nothing quite like a vampy vibe to carry you through the balmy nights.
As 2013 draws to a close, it's time to reflect on the stars we couldn't get enough of throughout the year. Music veterans such as Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé continued their world domination and a New Zealand teenager was anointed the new darling of pop; Jennifer Lawrence cemented herself as one of Hollywood's most talented and likeable personalities, and Kate Middleton handled her pregnancy, the most-watched in the world, with grace and poise. These aren't the only stars who made 2013 a memorable one — click through to find out who else got us excited and talking this year.

Every year there are the supermodels that stop us in our tracks. Whether it's a newsworthy runway return (Miranda Kerr for Stella McCartney), the models turning their hand at design (Lara Bingle), or Australian supermodels causing a stir internationally (Jessica Hart) these homegrown beauties got us talking this year.
As 2013 comes to an end, take some time to reflect on the women we spoke about — and looked at — the most this year. And if you're feeling a little nostalgic about the the year that was, get more of our 2013 recaps here.
Trends may come and go, but real classic beauty will never fade — and that's why we'll never, ever tire of seeing creamy nude lips on the mouths of our favourite celebrities. The thing about "nude" is that the colour actually encompasses hundreds of different shades. Just like everyone in the world has slightly different skin colours, we all also present a slightly different colour when we leave our lips bare or coat them with a matching lipstick. Jessica Alba, for example — her nude is a light berry shade, while Diane Kruger's natural colour is a pale and creamy shade. Miranda Kerr has a hint of pale pink to her lips, while Jennifer Hawkins has the lightest berry undertone. Whichever look you're going for, you can take inspiration from the celebrities in this gallery. Sure, they like their bright pinks and oranges, too — but paring things back never looked so good.

While we love style stalking celebrities across the globe, there's something amazing about spotting a home-grown talent taking the red carpet (or the street) by storm. And as we come to the end of 2013, internationally and at home, 20 Australian women's wardrobes really stood out, each for their own, unique personal style. But you'll have to head into the gallery to see who made the cut.
Two things seemed to put a smile on Lara Bingle’s dial on Sunday: retail therapy and quality time with her boyfriend, Sam Worthington. The relatively-new celebrity couple — they went public with their romance in October — matched in black ensembles when they shopped at Barneys in Beverly Hills, and they embraced on the side of the road as they waited for a car. They’ve spent the past few weeks together in Europe as well, where Sam has been filming the action movie Kidnapping Freddy Heineken with fellow Aussie Ryan Kwanten. While overseas Lara also had to deal with unflattering photos that were published on the cover of a local tabloid — Lara slammed Famous magazine on social media, writing, “Perpetuating self doubt in all women in the name of making a quick buck. Sickening. Same day different magazine. YOU ARE A DISGRACE FAMOUS MAGAZINE.” The magazine responded by saying they hadn’t retouched the images they used on the cover.
Good food, healthy bodies and bright workout wear are just a few things on our mind this week. We're looking to make more smoothies, more salads and thinking about healthy party food options (no guilt here). We're also looking to people like Lara Bingle and outdoor sports for some Summer body inspiration. With just under a month to go till Christmas the count down is on — all systems are go!
The little black dress is a wardrobe staple that willl never let you down. Timeless, versatile and universally flattering, the humble LBD has a lot going for it. And because we're always looking for fresh ways to do after-hours fashion, we've flicked through our celebrity style archives to unearth some inspiration for how to wear it, and updated with the most recent LBD looks of the season.
